Welcome to the Red Cow home page. We are a traditional British Pub selling quality Home cooked food sourced from local suppliers. We are traditionalists and pride ourselves on our high standards and have recently been awarded a 5 star hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency.
We don’t pretend to be a gastro pub that fails to deliver, but a pub that sells quality British pub grub, Cask Ales and Traditional Cider. We have seven hand pumps that serve 6 different quality ales and 1 traditional Cider sourced from all over the UK.
We realise our customers want minimum fuss, good food and a great pint at a price that matches the quality.
We have been awarded CAMRA Pub of the Year 2011 & 2012 for Mid Glamorgan, this is a great achievement for us as it’s the first in the area for 40 years. We realise the importance of skillful celllarmanship and hard work to deliver a quality Pint of Cask Ale which is known as the national drink of Britain.
Removing some Keg products from our range has been a decision made to reduce the amount of processed products sold at the Red Cow. Cask Ale sales have rocketed over the last few years and we believe that more and more people want to enjoy a drink that is as organic as it can possibly be.
